1. Describe three real orders
Choose a straightforward order, a complex order and an exception. For example: one product delivered to an address; several variants collected from a shop; an unavailable item after a failed payment. For B2B, add a company customer with its trading terms.
Show these scenarios to every candidate. A list of feature names does not prove they work together in the way you need.

3. Verify the Bulgarian operating requirements
Check payment, delivery and accounting workflows for your actual business. An integration’s existence does not establish support for every courier service or reporting approach.
Request the precise supported operations: address or collection-point selection, order changes, refunds, document generation and warehouse data exchange. Identify the provider responsible for maintaining each connection.
4. Separate available features, integrations and development
Record the implementation approach for each essential requirement. “It is possible” is insufficient without an estimate, an owner and a way to verify delivery.

5. Clarify costs and responsibilities
Compare implementation alongside ongoing use and maintenance. Include required apps, external services, integration work and the time your team spends on manual tasks. You need comparable proposals for the same scope, not a complicated calculator.
Ask who controls the domain, accounts and access; how products and orders can be exported; what backups include; and who responds to problems. Request a sample export if a future migration matters.
6. Decide from demonstrated scenarios
First exclude candidates that cannot meet an essential requirement. Compare the rest on customer experience, team workload, support and total cost. Choose the option you can actually operate.
